Hi My Branch of the Harvey family came from the cheltenham bristol area where my father Alfred Donald Harvey was born in1906 He was the Town Clerk of Dunstable Beds and then Town Clerk of Luton Beds. He was instramental i the expansion of Luton Airport. Hope to hear from anyone from this branch of the family.

My mother’s maiden name was Harvey. Her father was William Hamilton Harvey, son of William Harvey of Ireland. William, Charles, Robert & Joseph were the sons of Hamilton Harvey in County Tyrone, near Omagh, Ireland.

Apparently, God did so love a variety of humans…*smiles*…as a decendent of a “Harvey” and an African American female, I would love to see how far back the “Harvey”s” go as well. I thank you for allowing me to read the comments here. Yes, Harvey’s do dwell in California, San Fransico, Oakland, and the Greater Los Angeles Area. My Father, born in Sherveport, Louisiana. There a plethora of Harvey’s are born from Francine and Aceanyer Harvey 5 girls and 3 boys all my aunts and uncles of which most of passed away, God rest there souls..Reunions are now held around, Mansfield, Louisiana, Stockton, California and now Edward Vincent Park of Inglewood, California…in closing..Hello and welcome all Harvey’s new and the very mature!!!

Just wanted to let Peter Harvey know that my Harvey family originated in Crossmaglen too. I have a baptism certificate copy of 1858 for my great-grandfather. It’s from the register of baptisms in the Parish of Upper Creggan. The child was Thomas Harvey, son of Michael Harvey and Catherine Lennon. The extract came from St. Patrick’s Church, Crossmaglen.My records show that this Thomas Harvey was married to Margaret Larkin and that their child (my grandfater) was baptized in New York City in 1886. I have discovered the harvey brother of those brother who originally came to Jamaica, the genealogy of William Harvey married Frances Duhaney begot Tom, frances(fanny), george, Martha, and david maried margaret aberdeen Wilson, they begot Ann rebeker, Dorice Louise, Edmund, Rose, Howard, Albertha (Miss Jo), Cleodine and Flavious who is my Grandfather his children are Winston, winfield, Wilfred, Wilson, Willoughby, Wincent, Wilbert, Evett, Ivett, Mirett, and Norett. My mother is Norett I have one sister. I must comment that we are very close and family means alot to us. We keep up communication with all the member we know.

my granfather is from westmoreland jamaica, where i have now found out he is connected to the 7brothers frm UK/Scotland/england which settled in jamaica,hanover…. My father is christopher richard harvey Snr. son of theodore adore harvey(born june 3 1927/28) – son of george harvey(great grandfather)

theodore harvey(my grandfather) had 3 children- 2boys ,1girl… Beverly harvey(aunt) childre-?, anthony harvey(uncle) christopher harvey snr.(my father). christopher harvey snr.(my father) married Ann Marie walters-harvey(my mother) has 2 children -my brother christopher harvey jnr and myself(christina anita harvey). anthony harvey who married Carol Harvey-has 3 children: tonichelle, gabrielle and anthony harvey jnr.
